Indira Gandhi Govt. Polytechnic College, Chhindwara, is a leading polytechnic institute of Madhya Pradesh State. It was established in 12 September 1998 to offer 3-year diploma courses. This college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV). It was womens college initially . Later it was converted in to special co-ed college. special in the sense that in admission the preference is given to the girls but if seats are vacant against intake then admission can be given to boys. Computer Science & Engineering , Electrical & Electronic Engineering and Modern Office Management these three branches are running in the college. College has a Beautiful building situated in a land area of 10 acre with very attractive & clean environment. Its strength lies in strong infrastructure, skilled and dedicated faculty and staff. situated in the center of the city.
